While we’ve been growing our union and negotiating our first contract, the public lands we hold dear are facing an existential threat. The federal government has been working overtime to strip funding and protections for the outdoor spaces that make our country so breathtaking, and they’ve already done major damage to the parks and lands in our backyards.

Help Protect Our Public Lands During the Government Shutdown
When the federal government shut down in October, our national parks lost their funding and their ability to operate with enough staff. This means there are virtually no resources and staff left to protect wildlife, offer tours, keep our parks clean, and prevent damage to hiking trails and other beloved natural features.
Can you sign this petition and call on the Department of the Interior to close our parks while the government is shut down? This will help us to prevent further damage to spaces that are already underprotected and underfunded.
And the government shutdown doesn’t just mean fewer resources for our outdoor spaces now.
While things are in stasis, our parks are also missing out on millions of dollars in entrance fees, which help us ensure we protect and preserve these spaces for generations. On top of this, local businesses that depend on park visitors are losing revenue, making it harder for hardworking families to make ends meet.
Tell the EPA to Preserve the Endangerment Finding
While our communities are reeling from the damage caused by the government shutdown, the EPA is trying to eliminate a key legal ruling that officially acknowledged the threat that greenhouse gases pose to our health and the well-being of our ecosystems.

Our ability to fight climate change DEPENDS on the integrity of the endangerment finding, and we simply cannot let the government get away with undoing decades of critical progress. Sign this petition and tell the EPA to keep their hands off the endangerment finding.
Don’t Let The Trump Admin Give Big Polluters a Pass
Right now, the EPA is helping big corporations bypass their legal obligation to minimize their ecological footprints. The Trump administration recently started accepting applications for presidential exemption from pollution safeguards, meaning more corporations can ignore key regulations and pump unprecedented levels of pollutants into our atmosphere.
This is incredibly dangerous - no corporation should get special treatment, and it’s scary to see the current administration encouraging big companies to ignore their obligation to keep our air clean. We need to use our power as a community of outdoor enthusiasts to fight back - sign this petition and tell the Trump admin to STOP giving passes to the world’s biggest polluters.
Show Your Support for Clean Energy
Ever since the new administration took office, they’ve made it clear they’re prioritizing the development and expansion of fossil fuels and other kinds of polluting energy sources. This is both dangerous and senseless - experts unanimously agree that investing in clean energy helps us reduce pollution, create jobs, and protect our most vulnerable ecosystems.
